I’m New Here
Welcome to The Father’s House. We have gone back into the New Testament and looked at church history to see what the early-church was like, and are attempting to translate those values of the early church vision into a church for today’s culture here in Hutchinson. Though we are not living in the culture of the first century, we still strive to see our values and biblical teachings hold true to the original values and teachings in Scripture.
We also value “being” the church. What we have discovered is that the church is its people, people who are following the Christ and who gather together to worship and be trnasformed into His image that we might be sent on His mission into the world.
We believe that in the modern world, the “church” has become known as a place that people go to vs. a people on a mission for God. In reality both are true. The Father’s House does have large weekly worship gatherings, classes and meetings that happen at a “place”- but foremost, we function as a community of people who live as “the church” all week long.
