Cindy Lawson

Missionary to The Nations

In 2005, Cindy volunteered to clean bathrooms at The Father’s House while praying that the Lord would give her direction as to his plan and purpose for her life.  When the devastating Tsunami struck Phuket, Thailand in December 2005, a door opened for TFH to send someone to simply ‘go’ and be the ‘hands and feet’ of Jesus to a devastated country.  Sitting in a room as Bishop Q shared his heart to help and then from the back of the room, Cindy raised her hand and simply said ‘send me.’

16 years later, Cindy has answered that call every day.  She spent several years in Thailand working with several different tribes and tongues until God spoke to her about going to Israel.  She spent 11 years in Israel building relationships across various religious groups and has a passion to bring unity specifically between the Jewish and Christian people, both in Israel and around the world.  Throughout her time in Israel, Cindy was connected with believers in South Africa and made multiple trips to South Africa helping, ministering and supporting a small village.  A couple of years ago now, God spoke to Cindy again and asked her to ‘go’ to the southern boarder of the United States.  Cindy now resides in Brownsville, TX where she has partnered with local ministries to help the increasing crisis that prevails at our southern border.  Cindy continues to spread the gospel of Jesus to every person she comes in contact with while continuing to take short term missions trips back to Israel and has recently gone to the southern tip of Mexico to work with a missions base training up pastors and leaders to work with the indigenous people of southern Mexico.

To put into a couple of paragraphs the totality of what Cindy is doing for the Kingdom of God and has done is quite simply impossible.  Cindy is the walking definition of Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…’  Cindy has devoted her life to the great commission.  Whether Cindy be in the busy streets or remote hills of Thailand, the wide-open savannah of South Africa, the religiously diverse and many times dangerous regions of the middle east, the streets and alleyways of Brownsville, Tx, the mountains of southern Mexico, a coffee shop in Hutchinson, KS a home or a church, Cindy Lawson is always sharing the love of her savior many times through words, but most often through her actions.
