TFH Called to Pray [updated]

Jan 17, 2011   //   by TFHadmin   //   Church Life  //  2 Comments

Sunday, January 17; the congregation of The Father’s House was encouraged to recapture a devotion to prayer. Deacon Bruce Miller gave a strong word of returning to prayer; devoted and consistent prayer. Deacon Ruth Morrill gave a word of not underestimating the power of the church or ourselves individually as we return to prayer and meditation

Over the next few days, Bishop Quintin will be publishing a ‘prayer guide’ that he personally uses and you can pray with him morning, noon and evening. Stay close to fathershouse.net or our Facebook page to see this feature go live.

On Wednesday, January 12 LAUNCH, the youth ministry of The Father’s House began ‘Roots’. Roots is a class for teenagers in high school that teaches lessons that are essential to our faith. Beginning with who we are and where we have been, through learning about the Apostles Creed and learning what a Convergent Church is, to discovering the Sacraments of the church and how God reveals himself in natural, physical things.

“This is going to be an amazing class”, said Pastor Sean Faulkner, youth pastor. “I’m so excited to begin, teach and learn from each other.”

Classes are every Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
